Driven by the ideal of providing equal education opportunities for all learners, Emily Foote co-founded Practice. A former Teach for America corps member, KIPP teacher and education lawyer, Foote embraces technology’s potential to help educators scale great teaching and learning. In her role overseeing all client accounts and learning initiatives at Practice, Emily ensures that each user maximizes the platform’s learning benefits. She also plays an integral role in guiding the platform’s product development.
Foote frequently presents on topics related to skill development and the challenges of scaling corporate learning and assessment. Recent presentations include talks at ATD, Masie Learning and Reimagine Education. Foote is the coauthor of the patented system and method for online interactive learning and feedback that forms the foundation of the Practice platform.
Foote holds a bachelor’s from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s in education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, and a Juris Doctor from Drexel University Law School.
